My experiences at Amrita have been a fairy tale story, packed with a phenomenon I term as divine intervention. I hail from North India (Meerut), and my keen interest and passion to be a computer science student made me join the only college which could offer me B.Tech CSE degree, little did I know that it was going to be in kerala! My 1^st year had been a mixture of ups and downs, where I took time to settle down with the environment, as I could see keralites everywhere. Not knowing the language nor the people, I kept my head high and tried to live by. But life had other big plans for me! I got elected as the Class Representative, and I’m happy to say I enjoyed a successful tenure of 2 years. Along with my fellow Co-Rep Divya Rajan we did all we could to keep our class’s name high – Onam Celebrations, tour organization, discipline and smooth coordination of the class, by the end of first year CS2005 batch was known everywhere, and I had picked up speaking Malayalam and was improving on the grammar...........
