My experiences at Amrita have been a fairy tale story, packed with a phenomenon I term as divine intervention. I hail from North India (Meerut), and my keen interest and passion to be a computer science student made me join the only college which could offer me B.Tech CSE degree, little did I know that it was going to be in kerala! My 1^st year had been a mixture of ups and downs, where I took time to settle down with the environment, as I could see keralites everywhere. Not knowing the language nor the people, I kept my head high and tried to live by. But life had other big plans for me! I got elected as the Class Representative, and I’m happy to say I enjoyed a successful tenure of 2 years. Along with my fellow Co-Rep Divya Rajan we did all we could to keep our class’s name high – Onam Celebrations, tour organization, discipline and smooth coordination of the class, by the end of first year CS2005 batch was known everywhere, and I had picked up speaking Malayalam and was improving on the grammar........... Divine Conspiracy – The Beginning

I was never an ambitious person or a dreamer, call it destiny or divine conspiracy, the way I got into engineering made me realize that I’m in for something big! I found my first love in computers when I was in my early teens and had decided that my career is going to be based on it as well! all said and done, born in a family of engineers I also embarked on the journey to make it to the IIT’s. India’s most prestigious institutes. Parallely in my school days I started to explore the mysterious world of computers. I slowly learnt how to solve problems in computers be it hardware related or software related. Believe me it’s really simple to solve them if you are confident that nothing would go wrong and you are a good googler. Slowly I learnt to make good use of the internet too. In my school I took Informatics Practices in my 12th and I got exposed to programming through Visual Basic. I wrote my entrances and faltered badly in most of them.
